On April 11, 2018, Elizabeth Powers was on a panel of legal experts providing guidance to entrepreneurs and start-up hopefuls at the Angels, Communities, and Entrepreneurs (ACE) meeting, co-sponsored by CSUMB in Monterey, California. The event was hosted at the new Monterey Incubator, located at 125 Ocean View Blvd, Suite 203, Pacific Grove, California. The afternoon-long event included panels covering topics such as community growth, go-to-market strategies, legal issues, and financial issues, among others. Several select start-up companies presented to attending angel and private investors, and entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to mingle and pitch throughout the event.
